Elijah,12 Years, BlasticPlasmacycyoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm
Blocks of Hope delivered a Lego set today to a 12-year-old boy Elijah Randolph who is battling cancer, BPDCN (Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm). He is the first child diagnosed with this rare condition at Connecticut Children's Medical Center.

Here is Elijah's story
******************************
Elijah is an active, funny, and caring 11-year-old who was recently diagnosed with Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic Cell Neoplasm, an aggressive disease that affects fewer than 1,000 people each year.
Getting sick was the last thing on Elijah's mind because he is very busy working to become a YouTube star. He absolutely loves creating content for his channels which are dedicated to his favorite pastimes, cars, and Legos. When he gets a bit older he hopes to race Formula 1, but for now, he is practicing with his friends and their favorite video games in their hometown of Farmington, Connecticut.
Elijah is a charismatic and kind boy who loves spending time with his mom, dad, and Papi. He tells great jokes, loves mac and cheese and breaded pork chops, and enjoys shooting hoops with his friends after school.
Elijah's diagnosis is very rare and very confusing

I had the pleasure of meeting Elijah at the same hospital where I received treatment. He is a strong and cheerful kid. I wish Ethan a speedy recovery and a healthy, happy life ahead.
